Comikey Media Inc. is a digital comics and publishing company headquartered in the U.S., with a fully remote global team. We've partnered with top publishers like Shogakukan, Shueisha, SQUARE ENIX, and D&C Media to bring popular manga and webtoons from Japan & Korea to a global audience. Since our launch in 2021, weve released an English-language reading app with over 500K downloads. Our goal is to become one of the leading platforms in digital entertainment. To help us bring these stories to life in English, were looking for a full-time Japanese to English Manga Translator & Localizer on a monthly contractual basis. This is not a literal translation job were seeking someone who can creatively adapt Japanese manga into fluent, engaging English that reads as if it were originally written for a global audience. Youll work with our project managers, copy editors, localization team, manage multiple titles over time, and play a key role in how fans around the world experience some of the most exciting stories from Japan.
