KMCH Institute of Health Sciences, Coimbatore is one of the most sought after medical colleges in the state. Established in 2019 under the aegis of Kovai Medical Centre and Hospital Ltd., it currently has an annual intake is 150 students in its MBBS degree course. The Academic block of the KMCH Institute of Health Sciences houses the Deans Office, Lecture Theatres, Library, and the Pre and Para clinical Departments. The institute has a separate Medical College Hospital. The hospital provides outpatient and inpatient services in all specialties including General Medicine, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Dermatology, TB and Respiratory Diseases, General surgery, Orthopaedics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Dentistry. A new state of the art 650 bed hospital facility housing the future expansions of the project is one of the institutions newest offerings. KMCH institute of Health Sciences has got approval from the State Government. The Essentiality Certificate (Ref No., (4D) No.5/McA-2/2018., dated 16.05.2018) has been issued by the Health and Family welfare Department, Government of Tamil Nadu. The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University has issued the Consent of Affiliation (Ref No.:Affln.III (3)/13226i2018 dated 29.06.2018) of the college under The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai.
