Lions of Patna Service Trust , runs a non profit organisation in the name of Sri Sai Lions Netralaya at Patna . It is a charitable trust registered on 26th March 2002 in Patna having registration no - 211. Lions of Patna Service Trust is also registered under U/S 12 A of the Income Tax Act Vide Reg no - 02 of the year 2002 - 2003 dated 11/04/2002 and U/S 80 G of the income tax vide Reg No - 501-04 dated 20/07/2011 . Lions of Patna Service Trust is an institutional member of Vision 2020 “ . It has certified membership of foundation of ophthalmic & optometry education centre . Lions of Patna service trust (Sri Sai Lions Netralaya) has been dedicated to serve the poor and needy people of the society in the treatment of eye related ailments since decades. Our main focus is eradication of Cataract and other curable blindness from Bihar. Cataract is the most common curable eye ailment, but due to lack of awareness and poverty people do not approach the right place and person to seek treatment in time; hence, it leads to blindness.
