Sri Shankara Cancer

Sri Shankara Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (SSCHRC) is a 500 - bedded hospital with state-of-the-art facilities to treat cancer.  SSCHRC provides quality care to cancer patients at affordable costs, irrespective of caste, creed, gender, education or socioeconomic status. SSCHRC has been rendering services to cancer patients for the last ten years and has been accepted by the patients extremely well.  Currently, we are treating about 500 outpatients and 100 inpatients, about  150 patients  are treated at  Radiotherpay department every day.  Department of Surgical Oncology consisting of Centre for Breast Diseases, Gynec-Oncology, Uro-Oncology, Neuro-Oncology, Head and Neck, Bone and Soft Tissue, are performing 350 surgical procedures per month. Our Academic Cell includes DNB, and Fellowship Programmes recognised under NBE, New Delhi and RGUHS, Bangalore.  We also have College of Nursing which is delivering  B.Sc. Nursing course.
