About the PositionGather news, provide exclusive and exhaustive coverage on business and taxation with the objective of ensuring that the paper doesnt miss out on important stories and stands out.Areas of ResponsibilityWork experience on Crime beat minimum 3 - 4 years including CBI, ACB and good command over language.

News gathering: Gather news by attending press conferences, meeting company officials and keeping a tab on company announcement/stock market movements in order to get exclusive stories/news. Filing stories: Check facts, scan earlier reports, write lucid copy with a balanced and comprehensive perspective and research on the issues in order to ensure timely coverage of news and events. Networking and relationship building: Meet subject matter experts and sources regularly in order to ensure no important stories are missed out and gather interesting news. Filing online stories: File exclusive copies for the web edition in order to ensure a larger/wider reader base on the net.Educational Qualifications RequiredDegree in journalismRelevant Experience3 - 5 yrs
