Job Description
Adobe s Photoshop team is looking for a seasoned, passionate Engineering Manager in Noida to lead a team that is creating the imaging tools of the future. You will need a unique blend of business, technical and leadership skills to translate the business vision to a product used by millions of passionate users everyday.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 15+ passionate engineers and quality engineers to advance Photoshop on Windows and Mac.
- Partner with product management to define the product road map, priorities and schedule.
- Work collaboratively with engineers, designers and product management incorporating their feedback into the product definition, development and quality assurance processes.
- Contribute to architecture, design and code reviews and be a thought leader for the specific product areas driven by the team.
- Own progress of the product(s) through the product development life cycle, identifying risks and opportunities, keeping senior management informed.
- Attract, hire, on-board and retain top talent. Support and develop the team through coaching and feedback to be a high-performance team.
- Foster teamwork and create a positive and supportive culture with a focus on innovation
What you need to succeed:
- Outstanding technical skills in developing complex software products
- Strong leadership skills to drive consensus on requirements and to ensure decisions are made in a timely manner with customer first mindset.
- Ability to set and meet deadlines, multitask, and prioritize across a high volume of tasks and multiple projects.
- Obsession for great user experiences and proven track record of working with design teams from ideation to delivery
- Experience of agile software development practices within a large team environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; proven record of working across teams with geographically remote stakeholders.
- Strong C, C++, design and architectural skills and problem solving and analytical abilities. Ability to excel in a fast-paced and agile environment
- Bachelor s in engineering from a Premiere Institute and 12+ years of software product development experience with at least 5 years in leading medium sized engineering teams
- Knowledge of design software like Illustrator, Photoshop is highly desirable
