Senior Software Engineer - BackEnd @ Monotype Imaging

Job Description

• 3-6 year development experience developing complex, scalable web based applications with 2+ years in eCommerce/Digital Commerce domain with high volume transactions

• Strong understanding of Javascript

• 2-4 years of extensive MEAN/LAMP/MERN stack hands-on development experience

• 2+ years of extensive hands-on development experience with web services, REST API and Microservices

• Experience with Content Management System(CMS) , Drupal with a certification

• Experience with AWS services, application monitoring tools

• Experienced in test driven development, continuous integration and continuous delivery

• Strong knowledge of object-oriented development methodologies

• Good understanding of web protocols

• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

• Experience working in Agile development environment

• Experience with GIT, Bitbucket or Github and the Features branching workflow

• Awesome written and oral communication skills and ability to work in a global and distributed environment with agility to mould communication for different audiences

• Good to have experience on Docker, ELK stack, Redis / Memcached, Kafka / RabbitMQ

• Good to have experience with CMS migration strategies
