A Senior Cashier required in a reputed MNC hospital for one of their branch in bengaluru. Please find below detailed JD :-
Education Bcom graduates
Experience 10+ years
Male only.
Salary 35-40k per month
Exp should be from Healthcare industry or Jewellery industry or Retail industry.
The person must have handled 15 20 lacs of cash per day.
Main Objective of the RoleTo ensure accuracyCollections of cash is proper and it is accounted forDiscounts are given as per the rules (international and domestic patients)Timely remittances of cash collected
Key Responsibilities
Collection of IP related receipts and PaymentsTallying User wise Collection of OPCollection of Pharmacy CashPosting of cheques recd from TPA in HIS modulePassing entries of credit card payment recd, cash receipts & all other cash related entries in Oracle Financials (Accounting system)Tallying cash every day.Co-coordinating with banks for cash/chq deposit and withdrawal.Posting all receipt/refund entries in Oracle FinancialsCo-ordination with HO for transfer of Funds.Troubleshooting Credit Card swiping machine problems and resolving them after co-ordination with the respective bank.
Major Job Qualifications/Specific Skills
Required Education:Commerce GraduatePreferred Education:Basic course in computers
Experience:10 -18years of Experience in the relevant field.
Statutory requirement/Knowledge and Specific SkillsVerbal AbilityTo give accurate and tactful explanations to patients and attenders over the phone and to exercise high degree of tact and poise and occasionally overcoming language barriers.To be able to effectively communicate to the patient/ at tender on the availability of consultantsNumerical AbilityProblem solvingTo think independently and exercise ones own judgment in determining actions during emergencies and challenging situations
