Job Description
Technical Skills
1: Understanding relational database concepts
2: SQL (Queries, Analytical Functions, DML, DDL)
3: PL/SQL
4: SQL Developer / Toad
5: SQL Performance Tuning
6: Basic of Unix commands & shell script
7: Oracle utilities (like SQL loader, Import/export, data pump etc.,)
8: Migrating objects from one instance to another
9: Any other programming skill is added advantage
10: Experience in trouble shooting performance issues
11: Working knowledge of Postgres (as we are looking to migrate some of our Oracle DB to Postgres)
Analysis / Relation Skills:
1: Plan, design, and implement application database code objects, such as stored procedures and views.
2: Assist in gathering business requirements and convert it into SQL stored procedures for database specific projects
3: Work closely with developers, business analysts to define database involvement, test plans & test cases
3: Build and maintain SQL scripts, indexes, and complex queries for data analysis and extraction.
4: Provide support as needed on all production operation activities.
5: May also be responsible for querying a database to generate reports or aggregate data for use by others.

Qualification: Any graduate with 4-6 Years experience in similar profile. Freshers need not apply.
