Job Description
- The Regulation W Application is the system of record for the monitoring and reporting of transactions in compliance with the Federal Reserve Act (Section 23A and Section 23B)
- The individual will be working closely with senior project and program managers as well as other members of the development team to support enhancements to the project, testing and coordinating production rollouts and other release management activities
- The individual will have the opportunity to play a critical role in a variety of highly visible Regulation W projects. Individual will participate in discussions to analyze requirements, propose and implement solutions and support system testing
Technical Skills
- Java, J2EE, Web Services, Spring Framework, JSP, Apache Tomcat
- JMS, XML, JSON
- Oracle, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, aggregate Functions
- Experience in ExtJS or Angular is a plus
Qualifications and Competencies:
- BE or MCA Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years experience in core Java/J2EE
- Strong Application development using Spring framework, RESTful APIs, Apache Tomcat, JSP and Oracle
- Ability to review complex Functional Requirements Document and extract salient points
- Deployment of code to various environments
- Participate in SIT and UAT calls, interact with quality assurance teams
- Attend and resolve QC tickets/issues
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A motivated, self-directed, highly proactive attitude and approach
Domain Skills:
- Experience with Banking applications and process would be advantageous
