API Testing 4 to 6 Years @ Capgemini

Job Description

1. Analyzes functional and design specifications to fully understand the business requirements for developing APIs and compute jobs
2. Provides estimates on work requirement for contribution to overall project timelines and reports progress against work plan
3. Create scripts and test data for manual and automation of testing for APIs and compute jobs
4. Prepares test plans and test cases to test each API compute job
5. Perform manual automation and performance testing for APIs ascertain test results outcomes to meet the expected behaviours
6. Handles design definition planning and development of virtualisation for APIs
7. Produces periodical reports statistics on defects and test progress
8. Communicates with other testers developers and other project team members for tracking closure of issues and defects
9. Provide support in the delivery and development process using methods such as Agile and Waterfall to delivery products and features as part of the API roadmap
10. Stays abreast of QA Testing best practices and latest available tools frameworks and standards
