Job Description
Job Title Tableau Apptio Config Analyst Role purpose We are looking to recruit Apptio Config Analyst to build and maintain cost allocation models within Risk Finance Treasury
The selected candidate should have implementation experience in building reporting dash boards dimensional modelling and configuring SaaS based reporting solutions Key responsibilities Development 60 Responsible for development and testing of data models preferably Apptio and reporting dashboards Design 30
Has responsibility for proposing technical solutions to business problems Incumbent should have the ability to design scalable dimensional models in popular BI tools in the market L3 support 10
Responsible for troubleshooting production and UAT issues minimize impact to business in case of production issues Optimization and performance tuning of applications script processes etc Liaising and working closely with the peers within and outside of the team keeping stakeholders updated on progress against milestones Working closely with the business key stakeholders to provide robust change management process ensuring effective management and delivery of changes and enhancements Highlighting and managing risks and issues via effective controls and governance standards Enhance and improve the application development capability within the team via DevOps toolset Work closely with RtB colleagues building strong working relationships
Essential Skill set Development experience with any BI or data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Qlikview Strong DW BI skills Expertise in SQL can independently mine data to translate business needs into creative visualizations Should have the ability to map enterprise data sets to data model cube used for building reports Experience of project management processes and delivery with an excellent knowledge of the project lifecycle process Architectural understanding of cloud based reporting tools and third party products and their integrations with enterprise applications Solid grasp of data visualization fundamentals with ability to understand various data aggregation techniques Desirable Skill set A track record in development in Apptio model object configurations allocation strategies metric calculations is highly desirable Apptio TBMA certification is a plus Well versed in TBM taxonomy Exposure to cost management finance reporting hierarchies and accounting principles would be beneficial Experience in Apptio reporting building custom reports configuring perspectives et el Experienced in Agile methodologies Knowledge in DevOps tooling and test automation is a plus
