Job Description
Act as the Test Transformation Manager across Core Engineering and Data Platforms Domain:
- Understand the functionalities of all the applications which are in scope of test governance.
- Own the backlogs for test automation and drive them to closure including integration with DevOps.
- Redefine testing process and controls and ensure they are ingrained as part of the agile methodology.
- Manage Test Strategy and Approach
- Ensure adherence to organizational testing standards
- Track QA compliance with regard to Audit.
- Facilitate setting up of Test Data in lower non-production environments.
- Publishing quality metrics required by Audit and FSTS governance team.
- Project Management of test transformation plan submitted to Audit
- Understand the testing requirement from the project perspective
- To work closely with the delivery functions and ensure compliance with testing standards
- Deliver test projects according to the goals & standards as defined by Project
- Drive Test Automation that needs to be delivered by respective project teams.
- Analyze, propose & implement changes to processes around test management, test process & standards to maximize efficiency
- Contribute in standardization & rollout of testing framework on Test governance, life cycle, process, techniques, standards, tools etc.
- Coordinate on the RCA that there are No defect leakages and High Severity incidents for all tests delivered, in subsequent phases and in production.
- Ensuing that the Software Quality Management Practices, and policies laid down by SDF (org standards) are strictly adhered to in all areas managed by the person. Including TDA compliance
- Understanding the standards being introduced and implementing it across applications.
- Analyze cause for reduction in quality, if any and take the relevant measures.
- Ensure dispensations are sought and approved as applicable. (as per the laid guidelines)
- Ensure testing process and controls are ingrained as part of the agile methodology.
- Assist teams in clearing roadblocks hampering progress to meet the test transformation timelines.
