Job Description
We are looking for a Android Developer with good Android skills who can be part of a talented software team and who should be able to
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
- Lead, train and mentor junior team members.
- Suggest architectural improvements for various projects.
- Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
- Contribute in all phases of the development life cycle.
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
- Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as touch and voice.
- Prepare and produce releases of software components.
- Suggest various product improvement inputs to the client via the management.
- 3 to 7 years of experience into Android App Development.
- Hands on experience in designing and developing Android applications.
- Proficient in Object Oriented Java and Knowledge of RxJava or Kotlin.
- Object Oriented analysis and Knowledge of Design Patterns.
- Knowledge on working with remote data via REST, JSON and SOAP Web services.
- Knowledge on Android architecture components.
- Knowledge of various libraries used in Android (e.g. Volley, Retrofit, Picasso, Dagger, etc.)
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with Android Architecture Components.
- Knowledge on source code management tools (eg: Git, svn)
- Exposure to scrum or other agile methodologies.
- Must be self-directed, confident and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have at least 2-3 apps published on the Play Store.
- Working experience in Java Server Side development is an added advantage.
- Willing to learn more technologies based on requirement
