Job Description
Team Leader (International R&D Group, Rainin)
Rainin is a division within METTLER TOLEDO that produces complete liquid handling solutions for Life Science, Chemical Science, Bio Chemical engineering etc. Rainin pipettes, high throughput systems, bench robotics are highly sought after liquid handling solutions in global market. This role expects to work as Voice of Customer (VOC) and their various workflows, physical parameters, pipetting techniques other than developing competence in overall Life Science applications.
- IMSG being a Competence Center is a support and R&D organization. It has a Global arena for the support and development field. This position is for Team Leader (Application R&D)'.
- We are looking for a strong Technical & Scientific person with few years of experience in the field of Life Science. Knowledge on Proteomic, Genomic, Bio Chemistry, Molecular Biology and Micro Biology is sought after.
- The candidate should possess good hands-on knowledge of different pipetting techniques with excellent analytical hand.
- Good knowledge in MatLab, Minitab, DOE is preferred but not essential for selection.
- To become an expert on Rainin solutions and build up a Rainin user forum in India and AP region.
- Perform Research and Development on various topics as instructed.
- Conduct project-based work on Life Science with self initiated literature search.
- Creation of Technical documents as per the requirement.
Critical Competencies/Minimum Requirements:
- Ph.D. or Post Doc in Life Science with 3-5 years of experience.
- At least 2-3 years of professional laboratory experience with a deep understanding of laboratory applications and team handling.
- Knowledge of Indian Life Science domain is essential.
- Outgoing nature and good explanation skill.
- Top level scientific and general communication
- Capacity to carry on Fundamental research with the team or individually.
- Out of box thinking and quick decision making.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attitude.
- Ability to independently research and propose answers but ensure content correctness with subject matter experts.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Good team player and ability to gel with a large section of the industry level. Experienced working in a matrix organization is highly preferred.
