DevOps & AWS Cloud Engineer - Mumbai @ Ally-eXecutive

Job Description

Position Overview

Team Lead will be solely responsible for effective provisioning and managing of Amazon Cloud, dedicated servers and related infrastructure. He will be managing 24X7 monitoring Team. He will assist project managers to resolve technical queries/issues and plan server capacity for respective projects.

Principal Responsibilities

• Advanced level troubleshooting of Linux Server operating system related issues.

• Advanced level web application server optimization.

• Infrastructure architecture planning and review

• Administrative scripting with Shell/Perl/Python/PHP

• Evaluate and implement IT security measures

• Manage system and network security

• Planning for and performing backups, restores and disk imaging

• Managing 24X7 NOC team.

Technical Skills Required

Primary: Linux Server, Amazon Cloud, Apache, Nginx, MySQL, Security, Scripting

DNA Essential Skills

• Web application server optimization

• Knowledge of Amazon AWS Cloud Computing

• RAID setup EBS optimization knowledge

• Shell programming expertise

• In-depth knowledge of Linux it s hardening

• In-depth knowledge of Apache it s hardening

• Knowledge of MySQL including replication it s hardening

• Knowledge of Monitoring tools like MRTG, Nagios, Cacti etc.

Competencies Required

• Good technical knowledge in technology methodologies and design.

• Good analytical and design skills at single-product / multi-environment level.

• Aware of business issues as they impact overall project plans.

• Excellent communication skills,

• Creative flair and enthusiasm for new ideas and concepts

• Confident, passionate and enthusiastic attitude

• Ability to work under pressure

• Must be able to multi-task work independently

• Good troubleshooting analytical skills

• Ownership and follow-up skills

Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Production Server management.
• DevOps AWS Cloud Engineer
