Job Description

Responsibilities:

Manage a team of 5 members and responsible for their throughput
Responsible for Planning, Coordination, Monitoring Status reporting
Responsible for Deliveries On-time with Quality
Lead engineer on design programs
To work in Conceptual and detailed designs
To generate solid, Sheetmetal, Surface component and assembly CAD models
To perform design calculation to validate design
To perform and present gated design rev
Reports To: Manageriews both internally and with customers
Work as part of team to bring designs through prototyping and into serial production
Education: DME / BE (Mech)
Experience: 7-10 Years
Domain Expertise: Industrial Valves / SPM / Consumer Products / Tools Fixtures

Required Skills:

Proficient in Creo / Catia / Solidworks / Inventor
Conversant in Product Design Life cycle Gated Reviews
Hands on experience in DFM, DFA, DFMEA for Product Design
Adept in GDT ASME Y14.5
Should be able to do Stack up tolerancing for Product Assemblies
Conversant in manufacturing practices (Fabrication, Casting / Forging Machining)
Can interpret written specification or requirements
Shows attention to detail and exhibits high quality standards in engineering documentation
Ability to Handle, Motivate and groom the team on continuous basis
Should have good communication skills
