Job Description
  • Responsible for deploying integrations between Airtel Money and internal/external Airtel partners.
  • Ensure processes are defined, followed and enforced by both internal and external parties.
  • Creating and following up on the projects and project plan.
  • Tracking of projects to ensure that tasks are on track and provide early warning notifications if tasks are at risk of being delayed.
  • Communicating with Airtel and Comviva management on a regular basis as to the status of each project, including details about milestones, hits and misses, etc.
  • Timely communication of escalations to the relevant stakeholders to ensure that the project deadlines are achieved.
  • Preparation of periodic and ad hoc reports on integrations for Airtel and Comviva management. Present oral and written reports defining plans, problems and resolutions to appropriate levels of management.
  • Plan and co-ordinate resource allocations that delivers the SLA required by the customer.
  • Manage a team of diverse cultures dispersed across different time zones as well as to appreciate their needs and anticipate their challenges.
  • Manage project risk by identifying risks in advance, assessing them and providing appropriate mitigations.
  • Build relationships with customers and partners to ensure effective and efficient project management.
  • Attend weekly organized calls/meetings with specific opcos and group.
  • Update project management tool on regular basis on correct status w.r.t projects and to ensure there are no ambiguity on the status.
Educational Qualification
  • BE/ B Tech/B. Sc
  • Project Management qualification (PMP, PRINCE 2, etc.)

Skills Required

  • Excellent knowledge and practical experience of project management methodologies.
  • Good knowledge of mobile money and/or banking technologies.
  • Good communication skills, ability to manage the customers.
  • Good skills in Microsoft Office (esp. MS Project 2010).
  • Experience in financial application implementations.
  • Interpersonal and team management skills.
  • Ability to Travel in short notice.
  • Manage and mentor a team.
