Job Description
- The role is part of the global Development team at Citi Pune Captive centre for the Citi Screening platform
Job Background/Context:
- Impact to critical initiatives under Name and Sanctions Screening Programs for Transaction Screening & Workflow
Key Responsibilities:
- Create clear, accurate and unambiguous technical documentation including detailed test plans, test cases, testing procedures and test results in accordance with company defined standards and methodologies
- Execute test cases in a precise manner
- Worked in Agile model
- Perform smoke tests, functional testing, GUI testing, backend testing and regression testing
- Envision new methods for improving quality and drive change in the organization
- Identify, prioritize, track and report defects
- Participate in the application development life cycle and drive quality in the development process
- Collaborate and partner closely with program managers, onshore teams, development leads, test leads and production support teams to ensure requirements are gathered correctly and software is tested to highest quality
- Should have experience in leading small team for testers

Person Specification:
Knowledge/Experience:
- 8+ years QA experience testing multi-tiered software applications
- Strong background in functional and regression testing for enterprise applications following iterative and agile methodologies
- Strong knowledge of full software development and testing lifecycle
- Understanding of basic AML/Sanctions concepts would be advantageous
Technical Skills:
- Tools: HP Quality Center toolset
- Intermediate level SQL skills
- Intermediate UNIX/Windows OS knowledge
- Working knowledge of testing net applications
- Prior experience of QA process improvement through automation
- Good appreciation of web based technologies
Non tech Skills:
- The candidate should have strong analytical skills
- The candidate must possess excellent communication skills as they will be interacting with people with diverse skills and seniority across different locations and time zones
- The sometimes ambiguous environment means that the candidate should also be experienced with multi-tasking and balancing tasks with priorities
- The candidate should be proactive and should be capable to research and find solutions to the problem

- Educational requirements: BE/B. Tech
Language requirements (including proficiency levels for speaking, reading, and writing): English
