Determines database structural requirements by analyzing client operations and applications
Reviewing objectives with clients and evaluate current systems
Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts
Define system capacity planning and hardware requirements for new systems
Analyze data structural requirements for new software applications
Migrate data from legacy systems to new solutions
Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting and integrating new elements
Optimize new and current database systems
Define security and backup procedures
Coordinate with the BI and Data Science department to identify future needs and requirements
