Java & Liferay Developer @ Ugam

Required skills:

2 to 5 years of experience in Application Development using the following technologies - Java, Liferay framework, Portlets, SQL Technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery

Experience with Eclipse, CVS and Ant is preferred

Key Responsibilities:
o Responsible for error free & timely delivery of the project assigned to him/her.
o Understand and take requirements from the client
o Assist in creating specs document/technical design and estimate the project assigned as applicable
o Communicate to the client about the progress of his/her project
o Ensure daily updates of the project status of the projects assigned
o Create and update the documents of the project developed by him/her
o Follow work allocation schedule and project plan.
o Prioritize project tasks and seek assistance from supervisor as applicable.
o Adhere to procedures like communication protocols, operational practices / procedures, Information security practices, attendance procedures, etc.
o Assist the supervisor in tasks / assignments like developing / executing new procedures / processes, diagnosis of problem / client issues, etc
