Job Description
Establishing rules / policies for data usage and data definitions
Aligning information with business objectives
Ensuring data map and rules are documented and cross departmental efficiencies are maintained
Documentation of data points required for security set-up and trade captur
Coordinating resolution of known data issues / conflicts
Implement Golden Source data to GFS platforms
Within this team, the selected individual will be responsible for the identification and definition of our core reference data flow from Golden Source system to our different systems which are consumers of this data.
Key Responsibilities
The role will involve the analysis and documentation of process flows as well as capturing requirements for end to end Data related enhancements and gap analysis work
Work with technology partners and Operation areas to define Future State Operating Model and build the business case in support of each proposed strategic enhancement
Support operations and technology partners in a pragmatic hands on, collaborative work environment
Identify and track issues and risks; support mitigation and resolution as required; ensure issues and risks are escalated appropriately within the governance structure
Lead requirements gathering, definition and the documentation of requirements to the required quality level
Apply critical thinking to gathered requirements; identify, evaluate and propose solutions where necessary
Manage the post-implementation review and closure process for business analysis; incorporate lessons learned into future business analysis
Qualifications

Relevant Financial Markets & Reference Data analysis experience is a clear advantage
Needs to be comfortable working in a distributed environment
Good knowledge of Swim lane diagrams and Visio
Experienced in defining end state operations environment and process improvement would be an advantage
A clear communicator , who can convert high level ideas into feasible business / technology solution architecture, supporting definition of end state operations process
Ability to effectively prioritize workloads and work to critical deadlines
Demonstrate ownership and accountability for project deliverables
Experience of using structured business analysis methodology
