Job Description
Simulation Modelling Engineer (SME) is responsible for the developing the simulation
models for various aircraft systems on time, cost and quality using the relevant
technologies for the aircraft simulators.

Main Activities
Requirement analysis and development for simulation models using model based
development principles
Simulation models delivery planning in co-ordination with multi-site team
Validation strategy for the requirements - unit and joint validation with
stakeholders
Reporting progress of activity with timely escalations
Follow defined processes and ensure no deviations

Qualification:
B.E / M.E / M. Tech /M.E., preferably with experience in the aerospace industry.

Experience:
Preferably 2 - 4 years of relevant domain experience.
Required Technical Skill:
Model based development (MATLAB/Simulink/SCADE)
2 to 4 year experience in model based development
Proficient in programming languages like C
Scripting languages - Matlab scripting is a good to have
Configuration Management tools like SubVersion, JIRA
Proficient using unit validation tools and methodology
Unix/Linux environment exposure
Good in problem solving and debugging
Good analytical skills

Soft skills
The job requires ability to communicate in a multi-cultural environment.
Demonstrated ability to increase productivity and continuously improve methods,
approaches, and departmental contribution. Commitment to continuous learning.
Good verbal & written English skills a must.
