Senior Software Engineer - Mumbai @ AdviserLogic

Job Description

The Role:

In this role, you will collaborate with the team lead, Scrum Master, business analysts, QA, and other developers to build technology solutions for Morningstar's data services offering.

You will need to develop a good understanding of the existing systems and the data model.

The team is looking for forward-thinking problem solvers who thrive in a fast-paced environment and can learn new technologies quickly as needed. Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain the software code base. Help implement software solutions that meet requirements and quality needs.

Reinforce good development practices like test driven development, continuous integration, innovative frameworks and technology solutions that help business move faster.

Develop areas of continuous and automated deployment.

Requirements:

Completed Bachelor's degree in Engineering 4 - 8 years of experience developing software solutions 2-3 years working on data analysis projects

Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills

Hands on experience with SQL Hands-on experience with web technologies including JSON/XML, RESTful and SOAP-based web services

Expertise with DevOps tools

Technologies :

Java Stack :JAva/J2EE, Spring (MVC, Spring Boot etc), JPA/Hybernate, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery Microsoft Stack : NET/ASP.NET development, C#, SQL Server Good to Have:

Experience with cloud computing (preferably AWS), exposure to Docker/Containerization

Knowledge of messaging/streaming technologies, like Kafka
