Job responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of the position will be to lead and grow the technical area of Analytics AI/ML for Carrier products, solutions and service.
Fundamental knowledge and hands-on experience in key AI/ML pipeline steps and techniques encompassing AI/ML Problem/Target categorization (into classification, regression, pattern/relationship identification, abnormalities / unexpected behavior detection), KPIs Definition (Reliability, Capability, Efficiency, Availability, Maintainability etc), Algorithms development, Algorithms performance evaluation (RMSE, CV, R-Sqr, ROC etc), feedback collection, Algorithm revisions, Algorithm selection, Ensembling (homogeneous & heterogeneous), Model development (training and verification) and Prediction. Should be proficient in overall technology and methods of Data Selection, Acquisition, Data/Feature Transformation, Storage, Data Mining, Analytics and Decision making
Familiarity and expertise in Asset management methodologies like (reliability centered maintenance, Condition based maintenance, Prognosis and Health management, etc) .
Must have lead or been part of extensive research on AI related to autonomous solutions and automatons. Must have thorough knowledge and architectural experience, designing and implementing Digital twins (using Physics/MBD, Data driven and hybrid approaches) and Digital thread.
Additional responsibilities include:
Leading technology and innovation using internal and external partnerships and technology scouting activities
Aligning IP strategy including trade secrets and patent portfolio
Playing an active role in development and deployment of global standard work
Providing technical leadership and oversight in design reviews
Providing timely and expert support to resolve difficult problems and issues
Positioning Carrier in a world class position in for the discipline
Mentoring and teach others in area of expertise
Advocating Carrier position in various technical committees
Managing strategic relationship with relevant industries, universities and labs
Education:
Minimum BS in Engineering or related Discipline, or an equivalent 4-year degree
Masters degree in related field or PhD preferred
Experience and qualifications.
