Systems Operations Engineer - Hyderabad @ Wells Fargo

Job Description

Responsibilities Include:

• Leading the Bigfix Support team, guiding the L1/L2 support team members
• Work Actively with Bigfix engineering team to implement architecture and projects related to Bigfix application
• Providing support and knowledge to internal support teams regarding the bigfix application, agent troubleshooting and maintenance
• First point of contact for Bigfix application, able to escalate or work on high-priority calls to fix any downtime related to bigfix application
• Help troubleshoot agent issues, architecture issues or Infrastructure issues impacting bigfix application to minimize impact and downtime
• Work with US team to provide 24x7 support for the application( oncall during the weekends )
• Mentors junior-level technical employees.

Required Qualification

• 6+ years of operating systems support, enterprise tools support , or a combination of both
• 4+ years of experience with IBM BigFix application, preferably in a large scale environment
• Experience with supporting enterprise tools along with DB2/SQL experience would be preferred

Desired Qualifications

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
• A Engineering degree or higher
• 3+ years of Linux experience
• 3+ years of Windows OS administration experience
• Experience utilizing PowerShell, Bash, Perl, or Python to automate complex manual tasks
