Job Description
Responsibilities Duties:
You will need have a good understanding of server and platform technologies, hardware, storage, networking, firmware, and software as well as system integration.
Your key deliverable will be to work with DC customers and internal cross functional teams to integrate SW at system level, validation and deploy.
You must be a critical thinker, have strong self-direction, and be able to communicate clearly.
As an individual contributor, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Establish domain expertise with hands-on hardware and software integration.
- Developing systems integration strategy for DC Cloud solutions involving compute, network and storage technologies and ingredients across internal functional teams including CPU, boardssystems, SWFW, SSD, Networking
- Develop technical relationships with different teams across Client and Client architects
- Automate systems integration process
- Hands-on systems debugging skills to debug critical software, firmware and hardware issues
- Creates integration proof points and communicates them to internal and external audiences.
- Self-starter, takes initiative, proven influencing skills.
- Ability to influence and lead cross-functional stakeholders. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent with minimum of 10+ years overall experience. Technical Skills Experience : - 5+ years of hands-on experience working system firmware, drivers, open source software and automation. - Strong understanding of BIOS, IPMI, Operating Systems, Networking, Software, Firmware and Hardware components and has experience in optimizing these components for cloud workloads - Experience in coding using CC++, and experience with Firmware, Linux kernel, driver, system and debugging processes. - Experience working with Architecture and Engineering teams to define integration strategy for complex projects consists of a large, matrixed, multi-geo teams. Full Product Life Cycle experience on large scale computestoragenetworking projects - Experience with data center storage, networking, security standards and architectures - Good Linux system administration skills - Proficient in one or more of the following programming languages (CC++, Java, Go, Python) - Hands-on experience in analyzing workloads, debugging and tuning performance at system level. -Strong experience with Python programming -Solid knowledge on computer architecture, operating system, data structure algorithm, and distributed systems -Experience with Cloud, Data Center software (Hypervisor or Container based Orchestration system e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, OpenFaaS). -Experience with machine learning, deep learning model and software optimization on CPUGPU is good plus -Experience with software workload tuning, including workload performance data collection, bottleneck Analysis, and performance optimization across different layers of software stack is good plus.
