Job Description
Security System Admin who should have very strong experience on Fortify suite of tools (SSC, CSC, WIE).
Brief summary of the position: The Security System Admin will be focusing on the tactical delivery of secure software and systems using Fortify suite of tools (SSC, CSC, WIE). This individual will be primarily responsible for ongoing support and Administration of Fortify products. This individual will work closely with enterprise teams in configuration and setup of the infrastructure required in providing the services and tools provided by Fortify suite of products. Including setup of teams, applications, and access control. This role will be supporting application scanning (Dynamic and Static) tools platform, integrating tools with application build process and IDE, configuring tools for cross-functional teams to effectively manage vulnerabilities. This role will also support the application teams in evaluating the application platform (application, OS - server, infrastructure, networking) and understanding potential vulnerabilities. Responsibilities: Provide configuration and administrative support of Micro Focus Fortify suite of products & plug-ins. Perform daily administration to identify and resolve any blockers and availability of the Fortify products. Setting up & supporting user access privileges, project roles, workflows, security & plug-ins Develop metrics, dashboards, and advanced filters to provide end-users and business leadership with meaningful operational/performance metrics and status reports Create and maintain Fortify suite structure to meet business needs. Work closely with IT & Enterprise governance to monitor, maintain and secure required support & upgrades for Fortify products. Determine ways to optimize and improve Fortify setup and process workflows and identify where functionality can or cannot meet user requests Document and communicate requirements, processes and change requests to ensure the delivery of solutions that meet the needs of the business Provide recommendations to Security engineers, Application teams on best practices and standardization in implementing and leveraging processes within the Fortify Suite Develop frame work for managing and reporting on scans for all cross-functional teams. Maintain healthy environment by periodically reviewing configurations, permissions, workflows, dashboards, integration, & logs. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation as required by Incomm IT services and standards Support and manage integrations from Fortify to external systems as required. Must Have: 3 years of work experience in systems administration and support environment (Fortify Software Security Center and WebInspect) preferred. Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems and administration, current networking technologies, system performance monitoring tools Ability to effectively prioritize work, troubleshoots issues and completes tasks on time Ability to plan, organize and to configure systems for proper functionality and optimal performance. Ability to communicate technical/complex information, both verbally and in writing. Experience leveraging external tools to maximize and improve those processes Ability to work independently across functions and work with all levels of users and management Perform multiple tasks concurrently and respond to emergency situations effectively. Preferred: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in configuration and support of Fortify products including MS SQL but not limited to software, associated plug-ins and extensions, portfolio, reporting, applications, role access and administration. Experience in building, and enforcing standards. Ability to work in a fast-changing, dynamic, and agile environment, including the ability to manage time. Basic knowledge with Secure Application Development, Vulnerability Detection/Resolution, Security Risk Assessment, Ethical Hacking, Data Loss Prevention, Data Encryption Someone who also has a background and experience in implementing Application,
