Job Description: Java Developer - Individual Contributor Role.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Science (12 + 4) Work Experience:
- 8 to 15 years of experience in expertise software development; preferably in product development
- Proven track record of churning out enterprise grade software in a distributed environment
- Experience in lean, adaptive design and architecture, test driven development with continuous integration and delivery of product increments
- Experience in self-organized, enabled & empowered agile team that is part of lean and flat organization
- Seasoned technical leadership that is technically hands-on, with laser sharp focus on business outcomes
Knowledge Areas / Essential skills:
- Hands-on seasoned developer who enjoys TDD and writing clean code that is modular, extensible and testable
- Passion to identify, evaluate and apply new technologies and techniques for building competitive advantage for our ads businesses
- Skills to spot code smells, undertake continuous refactoring and maintain credible regression deterrence
- Ability to setup, monitor and benchmark code quality metrics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to represent abstract challenges in the form of system architecture & design
- Love for sharing knowledge, grooming / mentoring and enabling team members to scale-up team performance
Key Job Responsibilities:
Provide technical leadership with collective ownership of the product platform and associated services
Churn out continuous product deliveries built on the top of existing platforms that will add incremental value to our businesses
- Creation of best-in-class technology platforms & products enabling our customers to build competitive edge in the market.
Collaborate in an agile work environment and actively participating in team ceremonies like grooming, planning, retrospective, etc.
- End-to-end Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) automation; right from source commit to production deployment to alerting / monitoring
- Maintaining high code quality by adhering to clean code practices, code reviews and continuous refactoring
