POSITIONS/REQUIREMENT: Sr. DevOps Engineer
LOCATION: Mumbai (Andheri East)
EDUCATION: B.E./B.C.A/M.C.A/Any other graduation stream, preferably STEM
EXPERIENCE: 5 - 7 years
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (AWS Infrastructure Ops)
- Must Have Technical Skills:
- Languages: Proven experience in Shell Scripting and either Python or Go
- Containers, Deployment and Maintenance: Proficiency in
- Docker setup, launch, configure and manage a cluster of Docker containers
- Deploy, update, and maintain applications on AWS ECS, Fargate
- Create a fully automated pipeline using AWS CI/CD toolchain like CodeCommit, CodeBuild, and CodePipeline
- Experience in implementing infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, AWS OpsWorks, Chef or Puppet and Python or Go
- Experience in CloudWatch, CloudTrail
- Linux shell scripting should have hands on experience in automation by writing complex shell scripts that leverage the AWS CLI
- Expertise on grep, awk, sed
- Use of regex, emacs or vim
- Knowhow of CentOS and Ubuntu administration
- Networking and Security: Proven experience in
- AWS IAM, AWS VPN and VPC,
- Securing entire AWS Cloud using KMS, Encryption SDK, IAM Policies & SSM
- API Gateway, Network Gateway, Transit Gateway
- AWS Systems Manager, Security Hub
- Conceptual clarity on IP Ranges, Subnets, Route Tables, gateways and endpoints
- Databases and Integration:
- Experience and knowhow of deploying, managing: AWS S3, AWS RDS, AWS RedShift, ElasticSearch
- Experience and knowhow of deploying, managing any one of: MySQL / PostgreSQL / Oracle
- Deploy and manage messaging and integration patterns using AWS SQS, SNS & Kinesis
- Experience with Git / GitHub for source control management
- Behavioural Skills:
- Can-do attitude
- Self-starting, motivated to learn will be required to learn technologies as needs arise
- Good analytical skills, good communication skills
- Attention to details, focus
- Experience working with remote/offshore team and International Customer team
