Software Engineering Lead - Hyderabad @ Microsoft

Job Description

• Define and design the standard business taxonomy and hierarchies for data management
• Build data models and flows for data functions and transformations
  Optimize conceptual, logical, and physical data model
• Manage the availability, usability, integrity, and security of the data
  Land governance procedures for data integrity
• Engage data source teams to align the Unified Data Platform (UDP) taxonomy
• Design and enhance UDP interfaces with other system data sources
• Engage with Compliance team to ensure data compliance/security requirements are met
• Lead and direct development work of the team for data architecture related use cases
• Architect, build, and verify the solutions
• Be a Voice of Customer to share insights and best practices, connect with Engineering team to remove key blockers

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of architecting and delivering large complex solutions to enterprise customers
• 4+ year of success in complex large scale Data Platform and deployment projects, architecture, design, implementation of Big Data applications

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent software/services experience
• 4+ year of success in the complex data platform and deployment projects, architecture, design, implementation of Big Data applications (prefer Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Factory)
• 3+ years of experience in following Data Platform Solution
  Advance Analytics (prefer Azure Data Bricks, data visualization tools such as Power BI)
• Data Science and Machine Learning (prefer Azure ML or similar framework)
• Passion for innovation and customer service
  Ability to inspire customers by communicating complex concepts in a simple, business valued context with proven whiteboarding capabilities
• Experience working in a solution integration role including data integration and agile methodologies
• Ability to solve customer problems through technologies
