Position Summary:
This position is within Harman Connected Car Division and is located in Bangalore, India. The purpose of this position is to lead Harman s strategy for V&V and build a global team responsible for executing validation plans for multiple ADAS products. The ideal candidate will have good analytical skills, significant validation experience and the ability to build and run a global validation team.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities:
- Building and managing a team of engineers to develop and execute the test plans that meets both performance and safety requirements for ADAS products
- Provide leadership in the definition of validation requirements and testing strategies in simulated and real world environments
- Develop processes and tools required for bench and vehicle validation function
- Generate safety requirements for testing from the functional requirements.
- Properly documenting all test procedures, working within the tracking system, and ensuring test results traceability.
- Communicate with management all test issues including cost, timing, success, and failures
- Defining and coordinating global data collection for V&V activities
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineer/Computer Science
- 14+ years of automotive test/validation work experience required
- Hands on experience in verification and validation of ADAS/Active Safety systems
- Hands on experience in HIL and SIL testing strategies is an advantage
- Experience with test plan development for non-deterministic systems
- Proficiency with standard engineering tools
- Familiar with Agile development methodologies and test driven development
- Ability to work effectively within a global matrix environment
- Self motivated, result driven individual, must be passionate about the work
- Fluent in both written and spoken English

- Willingness to travel up to 20%
