Engineer -Frame Body Line For a leading @ Skill Ventory

The role entails - ensuring the overall quality of the parts being manufactured at Engine Plant & frame plant consisting of machine shop, engine assembly, weld shop, paint shop and frame assembly.

Role Objectives

To achieve the overall PQCDMS parameters of QA frame & engine plant

To ensure that DWM activities are being followed in line with the overall objectives of Frame & Engine Plant QA.

To proactively address the existing model issues in the upcoming models for smooth ramp of new models.

• Should have knowledge of manufacturing processes such as welding, painting, machining (aluminum, steel, gears & shaft) heat treatment, assembly of parts (frame & engine) and need to apply in daily activities.
• Understanding of Jigs/ Fixtures & Dies.
• Understanding of Parts designing & inspection process. Application of the same to conduct process capability study in engine plant/weld shop/ paint shop thru QM matrix and QA rate evaluation
• Should have hands on experience of Have experience of Quality Tools & Concepts, Process Capability, Six Sigma, QA Rate, TPM
• Process validation in periodic interval to assess the process gaps/product worthiness for engine components and fuel tank manufacturing and Guide and initiate the process improvements for the same.
• Initial review of new model design from process, product viewpoint and coordinate concern department to resolve the issues and ensure smooth launch.
• Regular monitoring of defect trends and sustain the quality level of in plant processed parts. Ensuring defect free component supply to domestic, export and SPD
• Facilitating the COP related test for frame plant processed parts
• Ensuring welding strength of the in-house fabricated parts and various testing requirement.
• Sound knowledge of TPM concepts & Quality Systems and use the same in daily activities.
• Coordination with production & engineering for facility planning to achieve process straight pass.
• Performance testing of two wheeler/ 4 wheeler- Engine and motorcycle.
