Job Description

Conducting manual testing of software web/ desktop/ applications
Preparing / reviewing test cases and test scenarios
Analyzing client requirements
Participating in preparing test plans.
Preparing test scenarios
Preparing test cases for module, integration and system testing
Preparing test data sets for test cases.
Preparing test environments to execute test cases
Defect tracking
Writing SQL queries for database testing
Designing automation frameworks, developing test suites, execution and debugging
Interacting with internal / external clients
Actively participating and contributing to team discussions on problem solving methods
Job Requirements :
5 years of experience in writing high quality test cases for new features added and enhancing existing test suite
Expertise in different types of testing i.e. functional, regression, sanity and smoke
Expertise in OS/ browser compatibility testing
Good understanding of testing processes and the ability to formulate strong test strategy / plan
Ability to use any defect tracking tool to report defects
Working knowledge of SDLC models and SDLC documentation processes
Experience in working with tools like Jira, bugzilla, Testlink etc.
Experience in virtualization or hardware testing would be an added advantage.
Experience in test automation test scripting, execution and scheduling and a clear understanding of test automation needs
Experience in using load testing tools like JMeter etc. will be preferred
Experience in database/ security/ mobile testing will be preferred
Good verbal and written communication skills
Should have a positive attitude
Qualifications :
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering
