Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Accountable for defining, designing and developing cloud security architecture blueprints and roadmaps
- Regularly assess and recommend security design changes to achieve compliance with security policies
- Assist in evaluating, configuring and maintaining cloud security systems (both hardware and software)
- Deliver security automation in the CI/CD pipeline through process automation, technical leadership and tooling
- Assess, recommend and implement new network security tools such as SIEM
- Assist in the evaluation and development of cloud security risk assessments, tools and mitigation plans
- Perform root cause analysis and identify any security incidents/events and mitigate them, collaborating with development and Infrastructure/operations team
- Assist in driving cloud security practices in SaaS/Iaas implementations
- Ensure cloud infrastructure and applications adhere to best security practices
- Conduct internal audits to ensure the security standards, policies and controls are in place
- Define and maintain relevant metrics and conduct brief outs to the executive management about the status of the projects and any risks associated on a regular basis
- Play a key role in enforcing standards and guidelines for cloud security to the teams and promote a culture of secure environment throughout the organization
- Stay abreast in latest cloud security tools, techniques and best practices
Technical Skills:
- Strong experience as a cloud security technologist with hands on experience in cloud first environment
- Extensive and proven experience in major cloud platforms (AWS and Azure) and cloud security architecture and governance is a must
- Demonstrated experience in Azure/ AWS security controls
- Experience working in DevOps (DevSecOps) and agile processes
- Hands on experience in implementing security controls in CI/CD
- Working knowledge of cloud security standards including NIST
- High level of understanding of network essentials and concepts such as OSI models and protocols such as TCP/IP, Http
- Knowledge of common cyber-attack patterns, security vulnerabilities and problem solving techniques
- Experience with one or more scripting language (such as bash) is an added advantage

- Proven ability to think out of the box and adapt quickly to changing industry norms and evolving requirements
- Sharp analytical and problem solving skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Good team player with exceptional relationship building skills and stakeholder management skills
