ESO DBS O Your Role You will play a central role in designing, developing and maintaining Oracle Database/ s for a suite of next generation banking products for top- tier international banks. Your tasks also include interaction with overseas DB specialists, architects , project managers and developers and overall technical leadership for all Database related areas of the product suite. You will primarily work from our Bangalore office in electronics city, but may be required to spend time with our spin- offs/ affiliates in Switzerland. Your Profile A versatile database architect and administrator who has passion to architect next generation of database systems for mission critical, high availability products. Academic Qualifications ::Engineering BE/ BTECH ( preferably in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science ), ideally with a Masters ME/ MTECH specialization in Computer science. Work Experience :A minimum of 3 yrs and ideally 5+ Yrs in the development and administration of oracle database applications, mainly high availability products. Expertise of data modeling, tuning, administration HU/ BA of ORACLE and good knowledge of SQL * Plus is mandatory, additional experience in PL/ SQL is highly desirable. Exposure to Java development and Hibernate is strong advantage. Programming Skills :: Proficiency in Database administration (Oracle), Data modeling and tuning is mandatory. Exposure to PLSQL is a definite advantage, knowledge of java and hibernate and version control tools like subversion is an advantage. Domain Knowledge :Good knowledge and experience in designing high availability highly secure Database for banking domain. Aptitude :: Enthusiastic, Creative, Team player and Excellent communicator in English (spoken and written).
