Job Description
We are looking for "Shift In-charge
Roles and Responsibilities:
Accountability Cluster
I. Ensure the smooth running of the allocated TC shift, ensuring appropriate resources are available to meet planned activity levels
II. Review the daily activities of the hubs and ensure better performance
III. Maintain security and equipment in the hub to aid smooth operations. Establish, monitor and maintain high standards of security in the hub by setting security procedures Ensure that vehicles, machinery and equipment is well maintained and fit for purpose
IV. Conduct meetings and manage the teams to drive continuous improvements
Major Activities / Tasks
Contribute to the identification, evaluation and appropriate implementation of improvement initiatives within the TC
Interact with the transporter
Handle the exceptions of day to day activities
Have key focus on Restoring process, Deploy, Drive and Review process compliance in TC Ops to ensure achievement of targets On-Time Delivery
Work closely with TC and LMs in reviewing and optimization of distribution network and identify improvement opportunities
Ensure that any IT and automated systems are accurate and up to date
Discuss the problems with team and implement the changes
Training of employees and address their issues. Define KPIs to monitor the performance of process and
resources. Regular communication with shift staff on departmental and shift matters
