Job Description
Job Description / Responsibilities :A solutions architect will own the companyrsquos products and solutions from a techno- functional perspective.
Provide current best practice and 3rd Party solution alternatives
She/ he will understand the market and business requirements from the business development team
Identify features that need to be built into each of the products to cater to the need
Produce technical documentation including specifications, design documents, etc
Convert them into high level product requirement and draw a roadmap for the next generation of the products in the company.
She/ he will be working with the product manager and business analyst of each of the companyrsquos products to provide inputs from a technical and XBRL functionality perspective.
Provide pre- sales support whenever required.
Developing domain capabilities and mentoring lsquoBusiness Analystrsquo.
Co- Chair and facilitate the technical council
Desired profile of the candidate :
The person should have expertise in database/ data modelling.
Strong presentation and communication skills
Good knowledge and understanding of Web Service APIrsquos for integration
Knowledge in web- based systems architecture, service- based architecture, enterprise application architectures as well as experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives against business and financial constraints
Should have minimum 2 yearsrsquo experienceas Solution Architect with exposure in System Design - UML, Agile modeling, XML technologies. Candidates with exposure in XBRL and Cloud computing will be preferred.
The person should have extensive exposure in Solution domain - proven experience with architecting systems with challenging performance, scalability, security, and availability needs
Must demonstrate good judgment and pragmatic approach to delivering software that optimizes architecture activities across company needs, business constraints and technical realities
Should have had systems designing experience for at least five years in designing enterprise wide products and solutions.
The candidate should be passionate about technology and consistently seeking out innovative ways to solve problems, detail oriented; methodical; adaptable; highly motivated and self- managed. This individual should maintain a high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly in regard to accessibility, usability and emerging technologies with a view to incorporating these in future projects and staying ahead of the market.
