Job Description
The incumbent should be a DME / BE / B.Tech - Mechanical with minimum of 10 - 15 years of relevant Project Piping Engineer Experience in Chemical / Petro Chemical / Fertilizers Industry.
Note: Recruitment Process will be started after 2 Months.
Eligibility Criteria:
CTC: 7 Lakh - 10 Lakh / As per market standard
Languages Known: Tamil & English.

Job Description:
Skills Required
- Candidate must have plant piping, package piping and cross country piping execution experience preferably in chemical/petrochemical/fertilizers industry.
- Experience in Green field projects will be an added advantage.
- Comprehensive experience of co-ordination with consultants, contractors.
- Good understanding of piping codes and standards.
- Excellent in plant design and piping layout concepts.
- Knowledge in Piping stress and supports.
- Proficient in use of MS Office tools, Autocad.
- Communicate well within the team as well as with other discipline.
- Must be a self-starter, Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to foresee problems and possess the commitment to meet tight schedules with quality.
Key Deliverables
- Responsible for Piping works , etc Supervise Contractors personnel in the field and prefabrication, erection and commissioning stage.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulations.
- Coordinate with PMC/EPC contractors/package vendors/contractors/other disciplines.
- Supervising, monitoring, inspecting, measurement verification & bills processing of piping contractors.
- Validate the Piping Material Take-Off given by EPCM.
- Carry out all procurement activities for pipes and fitting, valves, special items in the projects.
- Coordinate for Model Reviews with project team /EPCM and package vendors.
- Set up and implement piping quality plan for the project.
- Carry out all project closure activities, and support construction team.
- Experience in welding techniques , standards and documentation.
- Co ordinate with other contractor s personnel for interfaces activities.
- Follow up status of work & compare planned and actual figures Follow up installed quantities Keeping track record of increasing of quantity w.r.t BOQ.
