Lead Software Engineer - Bengaluru/Bangalore @ Lithium Technologies

Job Description

ROLE

We re looking to add a Lead Software Engineer to an already awesome engineering team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining multiple SaaS applications in the social media space. You will work in small, cross-functional teams and love delivering value to our customers through shipping code. We deploy as often as we can, and would love you to deploy to production beginning day one.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Work on implementation and verification of SaaS Cloud Applications
  Coding, Designing, Testing, Automation
• SaaS Application Performance analysis
• Critical and/or high visibility customer support
• Participate in technical discussions within the team and with other groups within Business Units associated with specified projects
• Willing to work on additional tasks and responsibilities that will contribute towards team, department and company goals
• Provide guidance and mentoring to more junior engineers.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• A graduate in computer science or equivalent degree
• At least 10 years of experience in Java (Core JAVA), Angular JS with experience in design patterns and spring technologies
• Expert- level proficiency in creation and Integration of Restful API and including at least one RDBMS preferably MySQL including Oracle, MS SQLServer.
• Expert on JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.

WHAT WOULD ADD VALUE

• Good to have experience in React.js, Tapestry
• Advanced knowledge of branching and merging strategies with source control management system GIT
• Experience with analytics, visualisation tools eg SumoLogic, DataDog, Kibana etc
• Follow standard engineering principles and practices. Familiarly with Agile methodologies a plus.
