Experience : 10 -16 Years
Key responsibilities
The integration engineer is responsible for conducting analysis and delivering guidelines, code and other artifacts to ensure efficient and successful technical delivery of integration solutions that meet the business needs.
As an integration engineer you will be part of a team performing the following tasks:
- Conduct analysis of requirements and tool capabilities to design, develop and document guidelines and best practices to be used by other engineers to ensure they create effective and efficient integration solutions.
Conducts analysis, develop requirements and solution documentation.
Provide guidance to engineers and developers for applying best practices and developing efficient solutions.
Provide mapping assistance and guidance
Conduct review of design ideas and provide guidance for solution design.
Participate in review of code and solution documentation ensuring it is according to the requirements, is of high quality and in accordance with guidelines and best practices.
Highlight risks and issues that affect development, deliveries or platform.
Develop proof of concepts
Write, test and deliver code and create documentation of high quality, ensuring requirements are met and code conforms to design and guidelines.
Collaborate with integration engineers, developers, architects and/or analysts to understand requirements and designs to develop detailed solution design.
Analyze health and performance of solutions. Recommend improvements as needed.
Assist in production issue resolution and root cause analysis.
Build strong collaborative relationships with integration engineers, architects, software engineers, analysts and vendor/supplier staff.
Form strong and trusted relationship with the Product Owner; ensuring that the Product Owner is fully aware of the technical capabilities and shortcomings of product allowing for sensible technical investment and debt repayment decisions.
Participate in the evolution of company level best practices, standards, and policies related to integration solutions.
We are looking for Experience & Technical Skills
Must have
10+ years of working knowledge on different EDI Applications like OpenText AI, Sterling Integrator, Seeburger BIC/BIS, Axway Product Suites
5+ years of experience with EDI and XML mapping using Seeburger mapping tools (BIC and BIS) to develop data transformation maps.
In-depth knowledge of Seeburger mapping tools with ability to provide subject matter expert advice in use of features and functions
Strong knowledge of EDI transactions using ANSI X12 and/or EDIFACT and XML schemas is required
Working knowledge of AS2, SFTP, FTP, FTPS, HTTP/S data communication protocols with expertise using Seeburger
Experience working with Trading Partner Profile Management
Experience with Compliance Check
Experience with Seeburger canonical models
Experience with process flow definition
Experience developing integration solutions
Solid understanding of databases and experience with SQL
Strong analytical skills
Solid experience performing trouble shooting and debugging
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English). Good documentation skills.
