Job Description

What you'll be doing:

As APE, SDET you will be the custodian of the Quality of the products being built.
You will be working with multiple Agile teams and help them build quality products.
You will be responsible for all aspects of product validation including but not limited to test environments, test strategies, test collateral development, test execution, test reporting, and continuous test improvements to ensure timely delivery.
You will provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team of SDETs and Quality Engineers.
In addition, you will be developing custom nightly automation solutions/frameworks to test backend/frontend applications.
You will also be maintaining and owning Quality metrics dashboard and demonstrate it at various avenues.

What we re looking for:

Deep hands-on technical expertise in web-technologies (both frontend and backend)
Deep hands-on technical expertise in all QA practices and processes.
8-12 years of experience in building automated testing solutions and frameworks to cover both backend and frontend applications (WebAPIs, REST, UI and Visual Regression).
Experience in building custom automation frameworks in Java, Javascript or PHP.
Experience with open source automation frameworks like ProtactorJs, Selenium, Behat, etc.
Experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Development environments, preferebally Jenkins.
Familiar with Unit Test, Mock, Test Driven Development etc.
A proven track record in mentoring team members to develop high performance team.
A proven track record in building quality products with the right process, quality gates in place.
Experience working in Agile development environment.
Awesome written and oral communication skills and ability to work in a global and distributed environment with agility to mould communication for different audiences.
