Software Development Engineer in Testing with Internet Startup
Experience : 4 To 8 Yrs
Location : Bangalore, India
This role requires somebody who has worked on both web and mobile testing with expertise in web services/ API and mobile automation. You would need to work with other automation engineers and implement the automation for mobile workflows. You would need to closely work with product and development teams to improve the quality and automation coverage.
Ideally, we are looking for :
At least 4 to 8 years- experience working in a QA role, ideally working within a tech start-up, web SaaS and cloud-based environment or mobile app creation company.
- Mobile testing expertise (iOS, Android & WP 8) using selenium/appium/calbash.
- Web services testing for REST API/ Queues and automation using standard frameworks.
- Exposure & hands on in building automation frameworks.
- Java / JS/ python coding experience is must.
- Exposure and keen eye for UX/UI design and testing
- A real passion and knowledge for latest developments of mobile and web technologies
- Exposure to Agile development process with sprint planning and retrospectives
- Experience creating effective test plans and BDD test cases
- Ability to adapt to new priorities and challenges and willing to learn new technology
- Ability to bring in improvements in test automation for web and mobile applications.
- Prior experience using BDD frameworks such as Behave/Cucumber/Mocha/Jazmine is a plus.
