As a critical part of the larger Azure Storage, Media and Edge organization, the Azure Backup team offers you the opportunity to learn, build and run a globally available world class Azure service alongside industry experts and technology stacks spanning operating system fundamentals, open source and third party products, high scale data movers, distributed workloads, highly performant cross platform code bases, REST based management and control plane interfaces and UX components. We follow an agile monthly sprint model with full stack development ownerships and take pride in our strong live site, customer obsessed culture and encourage diverse skill sets and points of views.

• Linux fundamentals expertise (POSIX with CC++C#, OS concepts, building, debugging, scripting).
• Linux filesystems, storage or virtualization expertise (ext, xfs, btrfs, nfs, LVM, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Open source, enterprise and NoSQL database expertise (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB).
• 4+ years of experience with designing and developing well layered object oriented software in one or more of the above areas.
• Ability to learn quickly and hit the ground running, a can-do attitude and never-say-die spirit. Great customer empathy.
