Job Description

Process Compliance
  • Process Compliance - Highlighting to circle/corporate teams in case of non-compliance/adherence to process.
  • Single point of contact for all process related assets - including contol of process documents on ARIS, changes to existing processes as per business contigencies, reconciliation of actual processes being followed in the circles/field vis-a-vis processes mapped on ARIS.
  • Coordination with circle for PCI (Process Compliance Index/ Control Self Assessments etc), collate the same and (in conjunction with PE) ensure PCI Index is maintained.
  • Initate/ drive/ manage and resolve IT tool related issues in order to ensure smooth operation of Corporate / circle operations
  • Change management in ISQ and Processes. Provide necessary inputs to corporate deployement teams for intiating necessary changes

Operational Support

  • This role forms core part of opertions support. this role is the central controller of data as single version of truth for the circle. It takes requirements from various stake holders (including customer accounts SPOCS) and fucntion Heads in the circles and threads the requirement between Demand entity and delivery entity (customer SPOCS/ ZMs/ CMs) Support to National Deployment Head, National Customer Project Heads, Material & CAPEX Controller for day-to-day activities.
  • Data relevancy, adequacy and timeliness support for all projects across circle and feedback to corporate.
  • Support for monthly target setting in conjunction with circle and NPHs. Regular monitoring of targets and project deliveries and highlight issues.
  • Represent the Deployment function for all information related requirements.

Data management and analytics

  • Custodian of all data points - reports, analyses, presentations and reviews etc.
  • Single point of contact for Deployment figures - in terms of deliveries, TAT, conversion % etc.
  • Responsible to broadcast Deployment deliveries and performance (vs. Targets) to all relevant stakeholders on monthly (Monthly delivery reports) and or as-is requirements.
  • Ensure accuracy & timeliness of analyses, especially - Daily reports , Weekly , Monthly Analyses (Monthly RFAI Analysis, TAT and conversions, rollout analysis, Deployment Deliveries Dashboard) and ad-hoc reports.

Deployment Strategy

  • Coordinate with National Deployment Head, NPHs to articulate an achievable strategy for the function for the year.
  • Monitor various projects' performance and ensure alignment with overall strategy.
  • Highlight possible deviations to the concerned stakeholders at the earliest.

Performance mangement

  • Coordinate with National Deployment Head, NPHs and later with Circle DHs in setting up and formulation of KPIs and KRA.
  • Monitoring of circle parameters , KRA and KPI on monthly / peripodic basis and publish as required
  • Monitor and administer circle PLI in support of Corporate teams
  • Coordinate and manage training requirements of team members on various processes
  • Administer Rewards and Recognition of Circle Deployment Teams

Special Projects

  • Energy - Bandwidth allocation for support to Energy Project deliveries
  • Competence Development - Training of function resources on PMP standards/ function processes
  • Training and Development - As mandated by Circle /National Deployment team
Qualifications

Minimum Educational Qualifications to perform this job:

  • Engineering graduate. MBA added advantage PMP certification/ PRINCE2 Practitioner certification is desirable

Knowledge Required

  • Project Management (Knowledge and application of PMI Standards through PMP and/or PRINCE2 methodology would be an added advantage).
  • Some knowledge of telecom industry, especially passive but also overall active infra. Work experience in the telecom domain in a similar role (PM/PMO) is desirable.
  • Knowledge of finance and accounting, supply chain, IT Processes is an advantage.

  • Strong interpersonal skills (should be able to carry the objectives at any level of organisation

Relevant Experience (Functions, roles, duration)

  • Should have implemented at least one project - taking the project through the entire life-cycle from Initiation to Closure.
  • Demonstrable experience in handling strategic reporting, performance metrics and general reporting to CXO level
  • Around 5 years experience in a similar role with 10 years' experience - Project Monitoring and Control and team handling

  • A stint in Operation and maintennace, Supply chain , Finance, Project Management or Cost Management would be added advantage
