Database Test Engineer @ Capgemini

Job Description

Understand the requirement clearly for a proper translation of them into test scenarios and test cases

Technical and functional expertise in Database testing projects

Coordinate with the development team/onsite leads to gather clarity of the requirement

Tracking of test case creation and preparation with the team

Tracking of test execution

Defect management

Job Specification / Skills:

Database Testing, SQL, Unix/Shell Scripting, Report Testing

Should have working exposure with Autosys /Batch Monitoring /Debugging logs

Basic exposure to Unix (We can train resource, if its a challenge right now to find candidate with ETL & even basic Unix skillset) Strong DB/SQL

Very strong knowledge and extensive working knowledge of SQL (proficient with minus queries, various types of joins etc.)

Should have worked at least one end to end ETL Testing project, have worked on at-least one ETL tool like Informatica, Datastage, BODS etc.

Very good communication skills Should be a good team player
