Job Description
- The Program Manager will be a mid-senior level resource with a degree in development, and about 8-10 years of relevant experience. The individual would be responsible for managing about 20-25 partners across Citi India s portfolio. International experience would be advantageous
- The core responsibilities of the incumbent will be to manage non-profit relationships at Citi, both through Citi Foundation and Citi India s programs. The incumbent will be responsible for conducting the due diligence and M&E for each of the partners, and also will be expected to create and manage employee engagement initiatives related to these partners and support internal and external communications
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Ensuring partner programs are aligned to Citi s priorities and principles, including that of Citi Foundation
- Providing strategic inputs on how to manage and grow the overall portfolio
- Conducting research, creating detailed plans, reviewing progress and recommending program enhancements
- Working with the legal team to create detailed agreements for our initiatives
- Managing partner risk by ensuring compliance to Citi policies and country regulatory requirements
- Liaising with partners to ensure projects are implemented efficiently and accurate reports are submitted on time
- Creating all program documentation (reporting, impact analysis, case studies, MOUs, etc.) for presentations to CSR Committee, Citi Foundation and other statutory bodies/stakeholders
- Facilitating CSR Champion interactions with partners to formulate independent recommendations
- Visiting partners to monitor the program and gauge potential areas for enhancement
- Crafting internal and external communication in partnership with the India Communications team
Key Deliverables:
The key deliverables will be:
- Align all partnerships to Citi s priorities and principles, including that of Citi Foundation
- Management of the India CSR portfolio
- Ensuring end to end diligence, program management and progress updates of all partners
- Working with the legal team to create detailed agreements for our initiatives
- Managing partner risk by ensuring compliance to Citi policies and country regulatory requirements
- Liaising with partners to ensure projects are implemented efficiently and accurate reports are submitted on time
- Creating all program documentation (reporting, impact analysis, case studies, MOUs, etc.) for presentations to CSR Committee, Citi Foundation and other statutory bodies/stakeholders
- Facilitating CSR Champion interactions with partners to formulate independent recommendations
- Visiting partners to monitor the program and gauge potential areas for enhancement

- Percentage of Travel: 40-50% time
Education:
- Required
- Post Graduate/MBA
- Preferred
- Degree in the field of development. An international degree would be beneficial
Experience:
- Required
- 8-10 years of experience of managing development projects
- Preferred
- Experience of working with donors
- Experience of implementing projects
- Some past engagement with the corporate sector
- Some experience of managing events
