Sr System SW Engineer ( Java + Cloud ) - Pune @ Spectrum

Job Description

• As a Senior System SW Engineer, you will work with the Core Development Team to provide scalable and robust solutions for Prism.
• Prism is company s cloud services platform, used to build, test, package and release system software products in a consistent manner globally.
• This product is being evolved to adapt to the latest technologies and caters to the scale and security standards required to rapidly release, high-quality products globally.
• Prism, is developed as an event-driven micro-services architecture to achieve dynamic scaling over a native cloud infrastructure.
• This internal cloud is managed using the latest virtualization and orchestration services to allow for a highly scalable and redundant environment.

Some of the technologies that you will be exposed to are:

• Core Java
• Kafka based Event Streaming
• Spring Boot REST APIs
• Hibernate
• My SQL
• Logstash, Elastic Search
• Data Analytics
• JIRA Agile processes

• Strong Development experience in microservices
• Strong programming skills in Java.
• Proven track record of delivering solutions using Agile process and methodologies.
• Excellent debugging and problem solving skills.
• Phenomenal teammate who can collaborate and influence in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, and written communication skills.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Experience with cloud technologies.
• Experience with computer algorithms and ability to choose the best possible algorithm to meet the scaling challenge.
• Ability to divide complex problems into simple sub problems and then reuse available solutions to implement most of those.
• Ability to design simple systems that can work reliably without needing much support.
