Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Maintainlegacy NetBotz software

• Design,code and unit test new features, enhancements and defect fixes for our nextgeneration NetBotz products

• Collaboratewith other team members in an agile scrum environment

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Expertknowledge with the C programming language within the Linux environment is required

• Expertknowledge of Linux, including familiarity with UNIX system calls, and low-levelO/S, storage and networking protocols (TCP/IP)

• Effectivetroubleshooting skills across hardware, O/S, and network

• Proficientwith Bash shell scripting

• Strongprogramming skills in Java (J2SE) technologies

• Experiencewith network management concepts and protocols (SNMP) is not required butdesired

• Experiencewith Java frameworks such as Spring, RESTful APIs, Jetty is not required butdesired

• Experiencewith SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc. is not required but desired

• Experiencewith Git source code control is not required but desired

• Excellentcommunication skills (written and verbal)

• Abilityto work with a global team

• BA/BSin Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Computing Science or equivalent
