Job Description
- Primarily responsible for new developments and support of the applications
- Provide responsive and effective root-cause resolutions and workarounds to support issues. The selected individual must work closely with other support teams to resolve issues
- Provide Effort Scope for Work Products and developing schedules for deliverables [enhancements and medium/large-sized projects]
- Application Support and Maintenance, meeting the defined SLAs
Identifying and Documenting root cause analysis - Develop a complete understanding of applications Supported and Maintained.
Required Experience
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Engineering or MCA or equivalent education.
- At least 3-5 years experience in development / debugging / troubleshooting
2+ years of relevant experience in design, development, and deployment experience with the Service-now platform. - Proficiency with Java Script, jQuery, AJAX, XML, MySQL, HTML, CSS
- Proficiency with ServiceNow framework and a good understanding of ITSM, CSM, ATF, CMDB, Integration, UI Scripting, UI Action, UI Policy, UI Macro, Business Rules, Runbook Automation, Workflow development, service-now administration, Reporting in ServiceNow, SQL, Database view in ServiceNow.
- Experience with Domain Separation, Service Portal, Multi Provider Single-Sign-on, XML, AJAX, JSON
- Development against third-party APIs
- Web service development - How web services work (outside of ServiceNow)
- Strong communication skills, Self-motivated, ability to multitask and provide mentorship to junior resources
Preferred Experience
- ServiceNow certified system administrator
- Experience in Field Service Management, Work Management, and Event Management
- Good to have skills like Service Catalog Management, Order Guide, Incident management, Asset management
